Extreme Internet Marketers
If you're trapped in a cubicle or behind a desk or counter in an unchanging nine-to-five routine, there's a good chance that the idea of running your own business out of your home has crossed your mind and would be ideal. Setting your own hours, to setting your salary, you will be making your own decisions! Determine your own priorities! Facing the daily challenges of succeeding or failing. It has to be better than toiling away endlessly in order to make somebody else rich, don't you think?
Which is one reason that it's so important, if you're contemplating starting your own home-based internet marketing business, to be honest with yourself about your goals and the reasons for thinking this might be a good idea for you. It's definitely not for everyone!
Qualities of a Successful Home Business Person
There's nothing wrong with working for somebody else. For the right kind of person, at the right time in their life, and for the right reasons, salaried employment may be just the right path to your brand of contentment.
Similarly, self-employment with a business run from the home might be just the right thing--for the kind of person, at the right time of life, for the right reasons. But, are you that kind of person?
To get a sense of the personal qualities that would indicate you might be the right person...ask yourself these 6 questions:
1. Do you currently maintain a household budget, and keep to it?
2. Do you track household expenses monthly, project your needs, and save regularly for large purchases?
3. Are you comfortable with change, unpredictability?
4.Do you enjoy the challenge of needing to reach a financial revenue goal each month, or does the thought make you tense and uncomfortable?
5.Are you energized by the challenge of solving problems, or does encountering problem after problem leave you tired and discouraged?
6.Do you enjoy being on your own, not missing the company of coworkers?
If you answered "yes" to all these questions, then GREAT!
The ability to plan ahead, postpone gratification, roll with the punches, so to speak, and set and reach for goals while deftly outmaneuvering obstacles are good characteristics to have. as a home business entrepreneur. If you were honest with yourself and answered no to these questions--you see yourself as a poor planner with little self-discipline who panics at the thought of missing a paycheck--then a full-time home business as an internet marketer just may not be right for you at this time in your life.
